The Venice Carnival is the largest and most important Venetian festival,an event where art is present in its numerous forms like music,theater,dances and history.The Carnival has very old origins,since 1926(with an interruption lasting two centuries) and it takes place every year in February,celebrating the passage from winter to spring(my favorite season).The most important thing that has drawn my attention is the way that people wear beautiful costumes and masks.Following this idea I picked some photos with these precious Venetian masks.

I love Venice and have always wanted to be there for the Carnival. This year the theme for Senior Ball at my school is a masquerade and I really want to wear a Venetian mask!
